AlphaCycle Investment Models |
F-Squared Investments focuses on building investment models which attempt to track, as closely as possible, the performance of AlphaCycle Index. These models are comprised of a basket of individual securities which are intended to replicate the performance of a specific AlphaCycle Index*.
F-Squared investment models are available for licensing for use in overlay separate account programs, mutual fund sub-advisory, or institutional sub-advisory.
Each AlphaCycle Index is constructed utilizing the theories of AlphaCycle investing, and consists of a portfolio of 'best in breed' mutual funds. Using sophisticated replication technology, F-Squared Investments is able to build individual security tracking models for each AlphaCycle Index, in lieu of a direct investment into the index's underlying basket of mutual funds. This process avoids the layering of fees typically associated with a fund of funds structure. F-Squared Investments is a registered investment advisor which constructs investment portfolios designed to track, as closely as possible, the performance characteristics of a specific AlphaCycle Index index.
F-Squared Investments is able to create investment models (consisting of individual securities) which are designed to track the performance of each AlphaCycle Index without requiring an investment in the underlying mutual funds. This means there is no 'layering of fees' associated with a conventional 'fund of funds' investment vehicle, where the fund of fund management fees are layered on top of the underlying mutual fund management fees.
As a 'virtual' investment management firm, F-Squared Investments is able to pass on significant cost savings to its clients, be they professional wealth managers or direct retail investors. F-Squared is able to offer actively managed investment models at index prices– i.e., at a fraction of the cost of a more 'traditional' active investment management firm.
* F-Squared Investments DOES NOT GUARANTEE that the performance of the tracking models will in fact replicate the performance of the target Actifindex index with any degree of accuracy.
